    Namo Buddha Tour is another most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites located 40 km southeast of Kathmandu valley in Kavre district. The main stupa at the hill top is world heritage monuments of UNESCO from where visitors can enjoy the great views of mountains and green fields. Namo Buddha means “Greetings to the Lord Buddha”. Buddhist mythology contains an interesting story related to this place depicting as a great symbol of human sacrifice at its highest level. Namo Buddha tour start by four wheel jeep or bus which takes you through the valley, roads running through rice fields and remote villages. It is off the beaten track.


Day 1: Drive Kathmandu to Namo Buddha. Overnight at Hotel/Resort in Namo Buddha

After hot breakfast, we head towards our destination, Namo Buddha today. Our vehicle will pick you up from your hotel and then the journey begins. Namo Buddha is located 40 km southeast of Kathmandu valley in Kavre district which is one of the beautiful, quiet and pure places nearby the valley. The environment is clean with fresh, cool and healthy natural air, which makes it the right place for meditation and practice. You can view beautiful sunrise and sunset from the hill. You can also visit famous Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery where  more than 250 monks reside today. In spite of being close to the capital, this area still has typical Nepali rural and lifestyle. While returning you can also visit imposing statue of Shiva (43.5m high), considered the world’s biggest Shiva statue. Overnight at Hotel/Resort in Namo Buddha

Day 02: Drive back To Kathmandu

Wake up call to view beautiful sunrise from the hill. Return back to resort, have hot breakfast and then drive back to Kathmandu. While returning back you can also visit imposing statue of Shiva (43.5 m high), which is considered to be the biggest Shiva statue. Our vehicle will drop you at your place of residence.
